Job Summary:
The Finance Executive is responsible for managing the full set of accounts for multiple entities within the organization. This role entails ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. The Finance Executive plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organization through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Full Set of Accounts:
Prepare and maintain payment vouchers for various transactions.
Conduct bank reconciliations to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Create schedules for tracking revenue, expenses, and other financial activities.
Generate profit and loss statements to report the financial performance of the entities.
Prepare balance sheet schedule.
Manage general ledger entries and ensure proper documentation of journal entries. - Audit & Tax Compliance:
Prepare and maintain Goods and Services Tax (GST) schedules in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare Quarterly GST Reports.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Support the internal/ external regulatory audit & tax requirements.
Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to the finance team. - Financial Reporting:
Prepare various financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist to analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting purposes.
Any other ad-hoc projects or assignments which might be assigned from time to time.
Education/Certifications/Technical Skills:
- Diploma or relevant certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with exposure to full set of accounts management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
