Finance Executive

Report to: Finance Manager and CFO

Job Descriptions:

• Handle full sets of accounts GL, AR, AP, GST F5 submission, tax computation/filing, and yearly statutory financial reporting.
• Perform monthly closing and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare payments to suppliers on a weekly and ad-hoc basis.
• Prepare monthly closing reports, schedules, and variance analyses as well as yearly financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial authority limits, financial reporting standards (FRS), company policies, and other regulations.
• Monitor working capital and update the fixed assets register.
• Responsible for quarterly stock take and half-yearly fixed assets sighting.
• Liaise with auditors for yearly statutory audits and periodic internal audits.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min degree in Accounting or ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 1 year of audit experience is preferable.
• Must have good knowledge of SFRS and accounting entries.
• Preferably have knowledge of the Xero accounting system.
• Possess a good working attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous and able to work independently under pressure.
• Able to meet tight deadlines for monthly closing.
• Working location: Somerset area / 5 days work week.
