About the Role

The candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and assume responsibility for all aspects of financial and management accounting, including investor reports, variance analysis, and accounts receivable functions.

Responsibilities

1. Perform account receivables and payables functions, such as processing invoices and collections.
2. Perform month-end closing activities and reporting to investors.
3. Monthly reconciliations.
4. Perform variance analysis on income and expenses.
5. Enforce finance policies and procedures.
6. Document financial transactions by entering account information.
7. Assist the management in gathering information and producing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
8. Assist the management in preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
9. Keep track of Accounts Payable & Receivables.
10. Generate sales tax invoices to customers.
11. Manage banking matters.
12. Oversee the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP).
13. Perform comprehensive accounting and tax service.
14. Monitor the cash-flow position and ensure adequate funds for operation.
15. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

1. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or proven work experience as a Finance & Account Executive or similar role.
2. Ideally with a minimum of 2 years of all-rounded Finance experience.
3. Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets are required.
4. Background in fast-paced entrepreneurial or startup/technology environments.
5. Proven experience in payroll processing.
6. Strong knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
