About the Role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as Senior Assistant Director, Finance. This role will provide critical support to the Deputy Director, Finance in ensuring the day-to-day functioning of the Finance Department. The incumbent will be responsible for managing financial accounting, financial planning and analysis, and research support and projects functions.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholder departments within LKCMedicine and Schools/Departments/Colleges (SDC) at NTU. Key responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the Deputy Director, Finance in leading the Finance Department;
2. Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies to achieve departmental objectives;
3. Providing financial analysis and advice to senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting;
4. Coordinating research support and projects functions to ensure effective use of resources;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, the incumbent should possess a Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications (e.g., Chartered Accountant) or degree in other discipline with 12 years of working experience, including 7 years in people management. Additionally, strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (FRS), finance/IT knowledge needed for automation of accounting processes, SAP S4 Hana version, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are essential.
