The Company
The company is an expanding, collegiate, boutique Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) platform with a focus toward integrated investment, development and asset management of ‘living’ assets. Combining entrepreneurial flair with effective capital-raising, the firm has established a European portfolio and it will replicate this for the US and Japan markets. There is now a desire to bolster its finance team with the appointment a Finance Director.

The Position
As a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will oversee the company's fiscal and financial responsibilities related to investment management, development management, and asset management. The appointed individual will be tasked with leading and managing financial reporting, annual budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and treasury, as well as overseeing annual audit processes. Naturally, close collaboration with the investment and development management teams will be essential to ensure accurate quarterly and annual financial and management reporting for the underlying projects and portfolio.

In this role, the Finance Director will provide strong leadership to the finance team, ensuring high standards of control and accountability are maintained.

The Person
Ideal candidates will hold an Accounting Degree and possess approximately 15 years of post-graduate experience, specifically within Big Four accounting firms and Real Estate Fund/Private Equity environments. CPA or CA professional accounting qualifications are required. The role demands a self-motivated and organized individual with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Additionally, a lively, inquisitive mind and a flexible disposition are essential attributes.
