Description
- Assist the Group CFO in leading the finance team to provide strategic guidance and ensure optimal financial health across the Group.
- Collaborate with leaders to analyze business trends and their impact on financial goals and performance.
- Cascade strategic goals to OBU heads and finance leaders.
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with Group objectives.
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and ensure accuracy in records.
- Drive comprehensive financial analysis of manufacturing costs, production efficiency, and performance.
- Optimize product profitability, pricing strategies, and cost structures.
- Evaluate capital projects and investments in manufacturing, including financial feasibility.
- Manage cash flow, borrowing needs, and working capital strategies.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls.
- Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders like banks, vendors, and auditors.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant accounting experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in financial management and strategic financial leadership.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, internal controls, manufacturing costing, and management reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
- Fluency in Mandarin will be highly beneficial due to the need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking finance staff and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, results-driven, resourceful, and ethical.
