We are working with a leading player in the entertainment and F&B industry to identify a dynamic Finance Director to lead their Singapore operations. This is a high-impact role, reporting directly to the CEO, where you will oversee the full spectrum of finance functions while driving strategic initiatives.

About the Role

As the Finance Director, you will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the organization. This is a hands-on position that requires both strategic leadership and operational expertise across controllership and business partnering functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership: Oversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance.
2. Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
3. Controllership: Ensure the integrity of financial operations, including accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
4. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to drive profitability and growth.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
6. Cash Flow & Risk Management: Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and identify financial risks with actionable mitigation strategies.
7. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and seamless financial operations.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA, CPA, or ACCA certification is strongly preferred.

Experience

1. Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
2. Industry experience in hospitality, entertainment, or F&B is highly desirable.

Skills

1. Strong controllership expertise with a proven ability to manage end-to-end finance operations.
2. Exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives.
3. Solid knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations.
4. Proficiency in financial systems and tools; SAP experience is a plus.
