Responsibilities Role
To lead the Financial and Controlling function in the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, accounting policies, investment proposal evaluations, tax & fiscal related and risk management matters in accordance with Group policies & guidelines and local business environment to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership to the senior leadership team, in driving business growth and strategic objectives
Drive planning, budgeting and forecasting process to support the achievement of strategic targets
Direct controlling and accounting to ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's business objectives and are conducted in line with statutory requirements
Define financial goals and monitor their implementation and ensure that a red flag system is in place to report problems in a timely manner
Ensure accurate, transparent, relevant and timely management reporting to division and executive board, including financial (CREST) and operational data
Approve monthly IFRS financial statement and ensures fulfilment of any IFRS / statutory / legal requirements
Provide commercial support, evaluates and approves investment and new business cases in compliance with the DPDHL policy
Cashflow: Perform cashflow forecasting and drive improvement in working capital
Compliance: Country Compliance Officer responsible for Risk management and compliance. Ensure that adequate internal controls are in place
Requirements
More than 10 years involving senior level financial management role, including 5-7 years managerial experience in a large organisation.
Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Masters degree or MBA (preferable)
Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent).
Experience in Logistics, Commercial Finance and Big 4 audit are advantageous.
