Finance Controller

Key Job Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Finance Director and support in annual budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic projects, as necessary
• Responsible for managing day-to-day functions of the Finance Department.
• Ensure accurate and timely financials reporting, including submission via Hyperion Financial Management system.
• Ensure compliance with Group’s Key Financial Controls and statutory requirements including statistics reporting.
• Manage the Company’s cash flow and liquidity including cash forecasts and reporting.
• Ability to lead and manage a team of finance staff, including oversee the training and development to ensure staff is able to perform at an optimal level.
• Streamline accounting functions and operations.
• Lead and continuously improve processes and systems within the Company. Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents, company secretary and bankers.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Big 4 and retail/ food service industry and managing a team will be an advantage.
• Strong experience in SAP and Hyperion Financial Management system
• Sharp business acumen, ability to apply a fresh view to enhance process s for continuous improvements and efficiency.
• Strong foundation in IFRS and SFRS
• Proficient in MS-Excel
