FINANCE CONTROL MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Master's Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA or equivalent
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
3. Prior audit experience will be an added advantage
4. Experience with accounting software will be an added advantage
5. Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
6. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
7. Team player who is driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
8. Critical thinker with problem-solving skills
9. Meticulous and able to multi-task
10. Great interpersonal and communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Responsible for the day-to-day account and finance operations
2. Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts
3. Ensure timely and accurate periodic financial closing and reporting
4. Prepare, review, and present financial reports and statements to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
5. Monitor and ensure proper invoicing and monthly payment collections
6. Preparation of group consolidation accounts
7. Preparation of GST submission
8. Handle yearly tax returns and other related claims
9. Responsible for cashflow reporting and projections
10. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and analysis
11. Manage statutory audit and tax compliance process
12. Liaise with Banks for related banking facilities
13. Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
14. Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
15. Other ad-hoc duties assigned
