About the Team:
The Global Payments Team is a key part of ByteDance, driving digital payments and financial services. The finance business partner team acts as a strategic partner, managing risks and offering insights to support the long-term growth of the business. You will be involved in:
- Conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify key issues, support decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Providing continuous financial support and guidance to business operations, ensuring strong service and alignment.
- Analyzing financial reports from other companies, not just interpreting the numbers but also understanding the underlying metrics to inform and drive business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Enhance and streamline the international payment business budget management system. Provide financial support for business budget development, assist in meeting organizational goals, monitor data regularly, analyze significant budget variances, improve operational efficiency, and conduct proactive business planning.
- Business Analysis: Develop and refine a business model analysis system for international payments. Regularly generate analysis reports, break down key performance indicators, create relevant dashboards, track and assess how business metric changes impact financial data, establish a financial evaluation framework, and offer recommendations for adjustments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare reports across departments, business units, and projects. Analyze and assess budget performance and business operations, identify potential issues, flag risks, and conduct in-depth analyses for specific projects.
- Key Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams to address project-related challenges. Establish ROI evaluation frameworks tailored to different project types, perform investment return assessments, and enhance resource utilization efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Work with internal teams to refine financial processes and provide solutions to improve the accuracy and quality of management reports.
- Industry Insight & Analysis: Gain a global, macro-level understanding of the industry ecosystem, benchmark against competitors, understand the underlying dynamics of various business models, and conduct systematic analysis through data integration and reporting.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of working experience in financial roles, including but not limited to financial modeling, report generation, monthly closings, forecasting, budgeting, ROI analysis, contract review, cost control, and business solution evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and a quick learner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience as a finance business partner or in financial planning and analysis is highly desirable.
- Candidates with professional financial certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools like PowerBI, SQL, Hive, Tableau, etc., is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to identify and address issues proactively, driving solutions with resilience.
