Job Purpose:

  • Support the Finance Manager in Regional Procurement and Legal controlling within Global Business Services (GBS) providing analytical and reporting services
  • Provide controlling support to stakeholders to Procurement Saving Initiative review process
  • Provide support to finance manager on digital projects
Your Tasks:
  • Coordinate month-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial recording and reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial actual reports, analysis against budget and commentaries
  • Perform analysis of financial data needed for cost controlling, forecasting, and budgeting to provide informed recommendations to the leadership in setting and realizing objectives
  • Analyse any deviations and proactively liaise with the country finance team to solve technical reporting issues
  • Prepare any ad-hoc internal recharges or billings
  • Proactively follow-up on any finance reporting issue to ensure its resolution and prevent future occurrences
  • Responsible for maintaining Controlling Power BI reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and participate in inter-departmental Finance and Digitalization projects.
  • Manage relationships, expectations, and communications with GBS Procurement & Legal stakeholders within Asia Pacific region.
  • Support the stakeholders in achieving their financial targets by delivering accurate findings and process improvement.
  • Build strong working relationships with the team members, Global Controllers as well as the regional Finance Colleagues.
  • Foster a teamwork environment and a continuous improvement culture
Education / Qualification / Certification / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • More than 3 years of relevant finance experience
  • Financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting (FP&A), Controlling experience preferred
  • Experience in handling full set of Account, P&L
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA will be a plus
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high attention for details
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven individual with great team spirit and positive attitude
  • Overview and understanding of SAP/ Cognos TM1
  • Possess strong knowledge of MS Excel (advance level & VBA), Powerpoint and MS Power BI, MS Power Apps & Flow
  • Ability to work well under pressure, perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet datelines
  • Familiarity with digital technologies and project management is desirable
  • Good written and process documentation skill
