As a Finance and Accounting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial planning, analysis, and accounting functions. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse set of tasks aimed at ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Analyze financial performance against forecasts and provide insights to drive strategic decisions.
Management Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure accuracy.
Accounting Operations: Support general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Coordinate with external auditors (if needed) during audits and ensure all audit requirements are met.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the CEO with the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises. Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analyses and recommendations for corrective actions.
Cost Analysis and Control: Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency. Implement and monitor cost control measures across departments.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's assets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and accounting software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
