Finance Analyst (Reporting) - 12months contract

• Adecco is partnering with a growing MNC retail company, and we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented finance and accounting professional to join our finance team.
• In this contract role, you will be responsible for consolidating financial results, performing variance analysis, coordinating annual budgeting cycles, and assisting in strategic planning.
• This contract is renewable, subject to performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with local, regional, and global teams, including Finance and Operations.
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance, Finance Director, and management teams in Southeast Asia.
• Assess financial performance to drive improvements and identify cost efficiency opportunities.
• Contribute to cross-functional business decisions, ensuring commercial finance expertise.
• Consolidate financial results from in-country finance teams for monthly reports and forecasts.
• Ensure data integrity and serve as the gatekeeper for global report submissions.
• Perform variance analysis, track financial metrics, and monitor capital expenditures.
• Propose and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems.
• Identify and pilot tools to optimize financial operations and enhance systems.
• Coordinate annual budgeting cycles and ensure timely reporting and adherence to deadlines.
• Support strategic planning and follow up on deliverables and financial goals.

The Talent Requirements

• At least 4 years of working experience in accounting and finance, consolidation, budget forecast in retail/FMCG.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Driven, energetic, and results-oriented with a proactive approach to learning.
• Strong ability to understand key business drivers and communicate in a commercially focused manner.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Strong team player, capable of collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively across all levels and functions.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
