Job Description

You will be part of the finance team based in Singapore and report to the Associate Finance Director. As a Finance Analyst, you will contribute to the monthly reporting under US GAAP and local statutory reporting.

Job Responsibilities

1. Work closely with KL Shared Service Centre for month-end closing activities and prepare monthly reporting package.
2. Engage with KL Shared Service Centre to manage payment processes, travel, and expenses to ensure queries raised by internal customers and vendors are resolved in a timely manner.
3. Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
4. Support FP&A team on monthly forecast, actual vs budget review, and ad-hoc requests from the regional team.
5. Use aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports.
6. Support in liaising with statutory auditors, tax agents, and other external parties. Prepare draft financial statements and support ad-hoc financial reviews with the regional team.
7. Prepare quarterly GST filing and be responsible for quarterly compliance reporting.
8. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and analysis.
9. Support in SOX and internal process improvement projects.
10. Other administrative activities.

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 3 years working experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
2. Advanced Excel skills; PeopleSoft experience would be an advantage.
3. Strong accounting and reporting knowledge.
4. Time management and deadline/outcome focused.
5. Customer-driven, an excellent communicator, and a team player.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task.
7. Willing to work in a demanding dynamic environment.
