Finance Analyst

An opportunity now exists for a Finance Analyst to join our client, a growing furniture company.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company and contributing to its growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Preparing financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conducting variance analysis to track budget against actual performance.
• Monitoring key financial metrics and providing management with actionable insights.
• Managing accounts receivable and reviewing daily transactions.
• Monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on overdue payments.
• Sending reminders for pending payments and updating the status of received payments in the financial system.
• Reconciling accounts receivable weekly.
• Preparing footfall and debtor aging reports.
• Managing accounts payable and incoming invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Verifying invoice details with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Scheduling payments in alignment with cash flow projections.
• Uploading payment details to the financial system.
• Reconciling accounts payable with internal financial records weekly.
• Managing scheduled payments with procurement for cash flow management.
• Preparing accounts payable aging reports monthly.

Your Profile:

• A Diploma or a Degree in finance or related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a finance role.
• Proficient in using Xero Financial Software.
• Strong interpersonal and business liaison skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
