Finance & Account Manager - FP&A (Construction / Marine)

About the Company

Our client is a leading marine civil engineering firm and renowned foreshore specialist in Singapore. The company specializes in revetment, seawall, breakwater, rock bund construction, as well as reclamation, dredging, and diving services. Known for delivering high-quality and timely projects, the company is the current maintenance contractor for foreshore structures under the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and taxation regulations. This role requires strong expertise in financial forecasting, project cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting, along with experience in green financing, profit enhancement strategies, and GST oversight. The ideal candidate will also lead a finance team to optimize financial performance and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts and ensure compliance with financial standards.
• Develop financial forecasts, project cash flow analysis, and budgeting strategies.
• Oversee financial reporting, cost control, and risk management.
• Drive green financing initiatives and integrate sustainability into financial planning.
• Identify and implement profit enhancement strategies to optimize cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and oversee tax submissions.
• Manage ERP system processes and ensure smooth finance operations.
• Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient workflow.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master in Accounting/Finance or equivalent accounting professional qualifications.
• At least 8 years of experience in finance, with strong expertise in project cash flow, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, GST regulations, and accounting standards (SFRS).
• Experience in green financing initiatives and financial sustainability planning.
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems and financial planning tools.
• Ability to develop profit enhancement strategies and implement cost-control measures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
