Field Service Technician (Chemical/Refinery, West, up to $3800)

Job Description:

• Location: West
• 1 year contract (high possibly to be converted to perm)
• Preferably with Class 3 license
• Salary: $3000 - $3800 (with completion bonus)

Role Summary

As a Field Specialist, you'll be providing field support to assigned projects. You'll assist in resolving problems and ensure our products help to perform and maintain efficiently during operations. You'll also be required to collaborate with other functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction is fulfilled accordingly.

• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer sites.
• Provide routine service and support regarding sample collecting, pump maintenance, chemical feed, and calibration.
• Assist Sales Representatives and engineers with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and new accounts.
• Perform lab analysis, troubleshooting, and provide technical support to customers.
• Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
• Extensive 3 years experience in Oilfield Chemical & Onshore Operations.
• Good product line knowledge in addition to meeting the competency requirements for Downstream Chemicals.
• Thorough understanding of production, onshore processes, and production chemistry applications.
• Ability to work and communicate well with people, especially within the customer community.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in an onshore environment.
