Our team is searching for a Field Service Engineer with skills and passion to install, maintain, and repair IBA equipment worldwide.

As a Flying Field Service Engineer for the "Positioning management system and/or Hardware system," you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. You participate in the installation and maintenance of IBA systems, equipment, and technical tools on the Proton Therapy sites worldwide, specifically related to the accelerator part on the customer’s site.

You ensure the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services. You will become a specialist in the latest cancer treatment solutions and represent IBA with your "know-how."

Challenges we trust you with

• You will help deliver a final, reliable working product within defined timelines that matches quality, performance, and customer satisfaction requirements.
• You install equipment/systems according to the defined planning, timelines, procedures, and operating processes.
• You debug and report bugs to the Development Team and are in charge of testing equipment/systems according to the specifications.
• You maintain equipment/systems according to the maintenance schedule and repair equipment/systems, taking all necessary actions to solve problems.
• You document and report interventions and actions undertaken with the required level of detail and accuracy.

What we value

• A University Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Electro-Mechanics, or Automation, with a strong interest in medical devices and equipment.
• 2-3 years of experience in electronics/electrical system troubleshooting is an asset.
• 2-3 years of experience in several of the following fields is a strong asset: Electromagnetics, control systems, regulation loops, sensors, high voltage equipment, low voltage equipment.
• Given the international context, you have good oral and written skills in English.

• Able to organize your work autonomously and take initiatives.
• A team player with very good communication skills.
• Willing to travel within the Asian region (50%-60% of your time).
