Field Service Engineer

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer at Wasson-ECE South-East Asia Pte Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients' engineering systems. Based in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region, this full-time position will have you travelling to various sites to provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on client equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
• Maintain detailed records of all service activities and report on performance
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify improvements and innovations
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer working on Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectroscopy or related analytical instrumentation
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in engineering systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
