Field Engineer (Services) - Semiconductor Manufacturing

Working Hours: Monday - Friday @ 8.30am - 5.30pm
Working Location: Woodlands (Client Sites)

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on semiconductor equipment and systems including computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems
• Perform on-site installation, continual improvement programmes, parts' overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair works on equipment
• Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
• Coordinate logistics arrangements and communicate with customers on equipment-related matters
• Respond to customers’ complaints, providing timely solutions to resolve issues
• Monitor the performance of the product, providing regular update reports and feedback on customer service requests
• Report common complaints of customers to management to address future situations

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with semiconductor equipment knowledge
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
• A meticulous, organized, and resourceful team player
• A highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment
• Willingness to work or be on standby during after office hours/weekends/public holidays
