Field Engineer

Job Description
• Involve in the project or maintenance services related to General Security Systems, Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, and Server & Network infrastructure as required.
• Perform installation, implementation, configuration, and testing of system/storage equipment & setup.
• Troubleshoot problems encountered on site.
• Perform OS hardening, patching, and updating on servers/VM.
• Develop implementation plans, migration plans, and acceptance test plans for the project.
• Conduct acceptance tests with users and address the testing findings/issues.
• Work closely with Project/Maintenance Managers in planning the implementation tasks.
• Maintain an accurate and consistent set of work instructions for service delivery processes.
• Develop As-built documentation for handover.

Job Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Nitec, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Information Technology) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Operational Technology/Information Technology industry.
• Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol.
• In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control, and System Server technologies.
• Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, and virus scanning will be an added advantage.
• IT Certification in Windows system & storage, network, database, virtualization, and cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.
• Candidate must possess a Class 3 driving license.
