Job Summary:

  • 2 Years Contract
  • Located at East / NorthEast
  • 5.5 Days (Mon – Fri, Alt Sat)
  • Up to $5,000
  • Performance Bonus and Variable Bonus

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary representative of the Managing Agent, ensuring that Facilities Management Services across assigned schools are effectively executed in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborates closely with schools, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Act as the key point of contact for schools and users, ensuring all facilities management services align with the agreed terms.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, industry codes of practice, and Singapore regulations governing facilities management.
  • Support schools in scheduling and coordinating maintenance services.
  • Work with the Project Manager and project team to implement Infrastructure Improvement Works.
  • Oversee and manage on-site maintenance activities, ensuring all work meets required standards. Assist Professional Quantity Surveyors in site measurements and record-keeping, ensuring accurate data is captured and uploaded to the centralized system.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold service quality across all schools. Monitor subcontractor performance and implement corrective measures when service levels fall short.
  • Maintain open and proactive communication with school administrators, addressing any concerns related to facilities management.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Operations Director and key stakeholders on the status of facilities management activities.
  • Participate in new staff inductions and facilitate ongoing training programs for existing employees.
  • Ensure that staff training sessions are conducted at least twice a year, focusing on continuous improvement and compliance with contract standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Building Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field, with at least three (3) years of experience in facilities management.
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within an educational or government environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Well-versed in Singapore’s building and safety regulations.
  • Experience in handling large-scale facilities management projects.
  • This role involves frequent site visits to various school locations across Singapore, requiring the ability to manage dynamic challenges across multiple sites.
