Facilities Management Manager

Job Summary:

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of building facilities, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, and maintaining compliance with health and safety procedures.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delegating or completing maintenance orders to ensure smooth facility operations.
2. Supervising team members in cleaning and maintenance tasks.
3. Providing guidance and support to the Facilities Management Executive.
4. Maintaining the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
5. Ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and health and safety procedures.
6. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns.
7. Managing urgent repairs and maintenance issues, including diagnosing problems and coordinating with repair technicians.
8. Performing routine maintenance and inspections, maintaining records, and supervising staff/vendors.
9. Preparing monthly reports for client and management review.
10. Liaising with clients and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.
11. Managing stock levels and maintaining organized janitorial/store areas.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Facilities Management or related field.
2. BizSAFE Level 3 Certification.
3. Physical fitness and ability to perform daily operation activities.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to resolve issues effectively.
5. Minimum 3-4 years of supervisory experience in facilities management.
