To assist the Facilities Manager on the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the facilities in StarHub offices and retail shops, which include but are not limited to the facilities systems such as M&E system, security system, Audio & Video system, Smart Lockers, Room and Desk Reservation platform, smart office technologies, etc.
To liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders such as vendors, contractors, and building management across sites for the areas of responsibility and act as their service provider liaison.
Responsible for the delivery of workplace & engineering services to the highest standard resulting in safe, code-compliant, functional, comfortable, energy-efficient, and attractive facilities and site infrastructure.
The role is responsible for managing self-performance services, vendor performed contract services, and providing monthly updates and status projections.
The role is responsible for the preparation, collation, and submission of related engineering, facilities, and project reports as per required frequency.
Establish a “Safety First” culture across sites and improve safety performance by championing our level of awareness and changing all staff and partner safety behaviours.
Provide support to internal stakeholders as required to ensure delivery and achievement of high service standards.
Have a strong focus ensuring our vendor partners meet all EHS, SLA, KPI, Satisfaction Surveys, Contracts, and Scope of Work (SOW) requirements.
Timely escalation to the Manager in the event of any escalations which have an impact on KPI/SLA and other deliverables.
Serve as the liaison for all facilities services, inclusive but not limited to janitorial, landscape, shared compound, security, waste management, space planning, and project development services.
Ensure compliance by ensuring renewal of all related government and statutory licenses.
Review the maintenance/service practices of hard and soft services vendors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations, established processes, tools, and documentation.
Ensure all safety, environmental, and client standards are strictly adhered to within managed facilities.
Support and promote sustainability initiatives by proposing & participating in recycling, energy, waste reduction, sustainability programs.
Key point of contact for corporate events in the office, to liaise and work with stakeholders for the planning and conduct of events and functions.
Support and conduct Fire Certification & testing, Table Top Exercise, Fire Drills, Building Annual Shutdown, and other regulatory requirements.
Project manage improvement or renovation work in the office and retail shop.
Procurement & Vendor Management.
To carry out any task assigned by management.
Qualifications
Appropriate qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, or Facilities Management with at least 2 years of work experience in the facilities area, particularly in an Activity Based Workplace environment.
Candidates with 2 to 3 years of working experience in supporting facilities operations & maintenance in an Activity Based Workplace environment are preferred.
Fresh Diploma graduates with a positive attitude and willingness to work in a start-up environment are welcome to apply.
Good understanding and hands-on servicing experience in all facilities systems and building maintenance.
Willing to work during non-office hours to manage and coordinate major data centre related customers’ activities.
Basic networking, broadband access, and structured cabling is a plus.
Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD.
Able to manage and supervise contractors.
Hands-on experience in provisioning and configuration of network elements switches, CPE, and services will be an added advantage.
Self-motivated with strong drive and the willingness to take on challenges.
Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with people of all levels, especially with end customers.
Good working attitude with minimum supervision and ability to perform under pressure.
Possess initiative and professionalism with the ability to multi-task.
Service-oriented manner is essential. Must be a team player coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills and shall demonstrate the ability to work independently.
