Facilities Engineer - Power Systems (Semiconductor)

Job Scope

• Oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of power generation and distribution systems
• Analyse power consumption data and implement energy-saving initiatives to optimise efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and reliable power supply to production equipment
• Identify and resolve power-related issues to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to prolong the lifespan of power systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines, ensuring compliance at all times
• Provide technical guidance and support to other facilities and engineering personnel

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar facilities engineering role, preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Extensive knowledge of power generation, distribution, and control systems
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent project management and communication abilities
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices
