Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in office facilities and maintenance requirements by scheduling, assigning and following up with vendors/contractors on work progress.
  • Undertake and oversee office renovation projects and work with various vendors/contractors to ensure completion.
  • Assist in enhancing office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and safety equipment procurement.
  • Recommend improvements to reduce costs or increase efficiency of the facilities services.
  • Responsible for general office management, including yearly carpet and office cleaning services.
  • Assist with Building Management FSM to conduct and coordinate fire drills - CERT exercises.
  • Support Production and Engineering departments on facilities maintenance, including yearly disposal of expired chemicals and damaged equipment under compliance procedures.
  • Track and update planned preventive maintenance schedules. Manage quarterly/yearly renewal and compliance of necessary building and facilities permits and inspections.
  • Organize and maintain proper facilities management documentation and records.
  • Provide Office Admin support.

Requirements:

  • GCE ‘N’ Level or above.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Singapore.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese counterparts.
  • Possess good interaction skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Strong coordination and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and complete assigned tasks within schedules.
  • Willing to do hands-on work such as packing, checking, and organizing stock items.
  • Responsible, committed, and independent.
  • Positive work attitude and keen to acquire new knowledge for self-improvement.
