Responsible for handling new trades done by traders from time after Trade
Monitor, track and report throughout the lifespan of a contract including monitoring the overall book size over different origins and destinations; Contracts drafting; Calculation of Provisional and Final Price; Monitoring counterparty exposures in terms of volumes and MTM
Responsible for Daily Physical position reporting
Make sure that foreign currency trades are hedged to USD
Work closely with Treasury and Trade Finance Departments
Client account maintenance and liaison with Accounts and Group Risk teams
Responsible for preparing and sending contracts to counterparties on a timely manner
Review of contractual terms to ensure they are in compliance with corporate policies
Coordinate closely with traders, operations, pricing/futures and finance colleagues, colleagues from other offices, clients and suppliers
Generate business reports from in-house Business IT system
Accurately input cost, allocate and split contracts from in-house Business IT system and troubleshoot the system as and when required
New counterparty assessment and limits creation
Ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites:
A good degree from a reputable university with minimum 3 years’ experience in the soft commodities industry
Good experience in trade coordination with trading and operations teams.
Knowledge in contract drafting, shipping logistics, operations, documentation, trade finance, marine and credit insurance would be an advantage
