Purpose & Scope
The Executive/Senior Executive, Planning will play a key role in supporting the development of the Group Center of Excellence (GCOE) / COO Office strategy, collaborating closely with senior leaders to define priorities, track performance, and drive key strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and proficiency in stakeholder communication.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Analysis: Support the development of the GCOE/COO Office strategy, plans, roadmap, working closely with senior leaders to define key priorities and track progress.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present reports, presentations, dashboards to senior leadership, providing insights and updates on the company's asset performance, projects
- Data Analysis & Visualization: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on asset performance, projects, develop data visualization dashboards to enable cross functional teams easily uncover insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional and group departments to track, consolidate, and report key metrics and performance indicators.
- Ad-Hoc Initiatives: Support various strategic initiatives and action plans aimed at improving business performance and achieving company objectives, such as benchmarking asset performance against external industry standards.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or performance tracking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power Query/Power BI, for data analysis and presentation preparation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills in maintaining orderly work, attention to detail in delivery of high-quality work.
- Displays proactiveness and curiosity to learn from stakeholders leveraging strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Competence in preparing and delivering high-quality presentations to leadership teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with experience supporting strategic initiatives.
- Experience in renewable energy, utility, or asset management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating insights effectively to senior stakeholders.
