Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns:
Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
Plan and execute multi-channel fundraising campaigns, including individual donations, recurring giving, peer-to-peer campaigns and online fundraising.
Identify, secure and manage relationships with major donors to ensure long-term engagement and contributions.
Track fundraising progress, measure campaign performance and ensure goals are met.
Oversee donor stewardship, ensuring that donors feel appreciated and informed about the impact of their contributions.
2. Corporate Partnerships:
Identify and approach potential corporate partners for sponsorships, collaborations and cause-related marketing opportunities.
Develop and pitch proposals for corporate sponsorships and in-kind donations that align with the organization’s needs and the partner’s objectives.
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate partners, ensuring mutual benefit and collaboration.
3. Report Management:
Research potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations and private entities.
Write and submit compelling impact reports that align with the organization’s programs and initiatives.
Ensure timely submission of donor impact reports and other necessary documentation.
4. Event Fundraising Support:
Assist in organizing fundraising events, including virtual events, charity dinners, and community engagement activities.
Collaborate with the Marketing Executive to promote events and attract donors and sponsors.
Manage event logistics and follow up with donors post-event.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in fundraising (individual giving, corporate sponsorships, major gifts).
Strong relationship management and networking skills.
Excellent persuasive writing skills for proposals and donor communications.
Proficiency in CRM software and donor management systems.
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Mass Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong communication and writing skills in English.
Skills in event management, design, editing, or photography are a plus.
Fluency in Chinese and the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking donors is a plus.
A genuine passion for social causes and a strong interest in working within the charity sector.
