Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES


Candidates are expected to:-

Human Resource

1. Partner with line departments to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resource functions with a strong focus on Learning & Development such as to:-

  • Develop and coordinate training programs, conduct learning needs assessments, and research emerging learning methodologies and technologies.
  • Facilitate training initiatives, manage sponsorships, and ensure compliance with audit and certification requirements.
  • Handle administrative and support matters including course registration, Learning Management System (LMS) updates, and tracking training subsidies.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement and leadership development programs.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including hiring, selection, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with line managers and external partners to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Identify and implement process optimization and automation opportunities.
  • Drive workforce transformation, organizational development, innovation, and change management programs.
  • Support ongoing and new HR transformation projects and other key initiatives.

Corporate Communications

2. Take lead in the implementation of strategic communication initiatives to enhance employer branding, internal and external communications which includes but not limited to:

  • Develop and manage communication materials, including videos, posters, advertisements, banners, and articles.
  • Facilitate interview requests, speaking engagements, and corporate features.
  • Oversee social media strategies, including content creation, calendar planning, and performance analysis.
  • Manage media outreach, monitor media effectiveness, and maintain media database.
  • Assist with corporate website updates.
  • Prepare media releases, handle media management, and support crisis communication efforts, including maintaining the crisis communication manual and conducting tabletop exercises.
  • Organize corporate events, tours, and workshops.
  • Curate and edit corporate videos and materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist with intellectual property and trademark matters.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate presentations, employer branding materials, and corporate gifts.
  • Drive corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Research and drive participation in industry awards and recognition programs.
  • Ensure alignment with PSA Group corporate identity standards.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining communication databases.


REQUIREMENTS


The ideal candidate should preferably:-

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Human Resource Management/ Corporate Communications or equivalent;
  • Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience;
  • Possess exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills;
  • Be proficient in MS Office, content creation tools (e.g. design and video editing software), and social media platforms. Any experience with video editing and Adobe Photoshop is an added advantage.
  • Be familiar with HRMS, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Be self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships across all levels.
  • Have sound knowledge of the Employment Act and statutory requirements.
