Job description

Fundraising Management

  • Design, implement, and evaluate fundraising initiatives and strategies.

  • Oversee and execute fundraising projects within budget and timelines.

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and volunteers.

  • Implement cloud-based Donor Management solutions to enhance operational efficiency and data security.

  • Source and secure sponsorships and donations from individuals and corporations.

  • Draft proposals, appeal letters, and grant applications.

  • Deliver presentations to potential individual and corporate donors.

  • Maintain and grow a database of sponsors and donors, advancing digital fundraising efforts.

  • Develop and coordinate web-based fundraising and merchandise sales initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance, Charities Regulations, and Singapore law.

Volunteer Management

  • Design and support volunteer programs/events within budget, funding, and timeline constraints.

  • Implement cloud-based volunteer management solutions for efficiency and data security.

  • Match volunteers with organization needs and their areas of interest.

  • Develop recruitment strategies, and conduct volunteer screening, interviews, and orientations.

  • Identify and coordinate training platforms for volunteers and staff on volunteer management.

  • Plan and organize formal and informal volunteer engagement programs, including an annual volunteer appreciation event.

  • Carry out volunteer registration, resource allocation, duty rosters, and participation tracking.

  • Supervise volunteers to ensure service quality.

  • Promote organization’s volunteer programs and develop program materials, such as application forms, policies, and orientation handbooks.

  • Develop and maintain volunteer communication materials, including emails, EDMs, event invitations, and newsletters.

Community Engagement & Communication

  • Engage with online communities across all platforms and monitor conversations using social media tools.

  • Participate in planning, design, and production of publicity materials.

  • Update corporate websites and social media platforms regularly.

  • Manage public and media relations, and handle corporate communications on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and newsletters.

  • Provide support for presentations to promote organizational services and programs.

  • Network with stakeholders, community partners, and social welfare service agencies.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform any other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in community partnerships, fundraising, or social service agencies/IPC charities preferred.

  • Diploma / Bachelor degree in related field.

  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

  • Proficiency in problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Experience in stakeholder and event management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Working rights required for this role.
  • Expected start date for role: 16 December 2024.
  • Expected salary: $3,000 - $3,400 per month.
