Executive/Senior Executive (Finance and Operations)

The Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute (CFI) Singapore is looking to hire an Executive or Senior Executive (Finance and Operations) to support the upcoming tranches of research grants awarded by the Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Research Programmes (Applied Research) and 8-10 new core projects awarded by CFI Singapore (averaging $2 million per project), and to assist in RIE2030 funding for the next phase of CFI Singapore.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage finance reporting for core projects funded by CFI Singapore in Tranche 3 and applied research projects won by CFI Singapore, including liaison work with partner institutions.
2. Work with PUB on financial proposals for the second phase of CFI funding under RIE2030.
3. Finance reporting to PUB and NRF and assisting PI in financial management and grant accountability and internal and external audit (for both NUS and liaison with partner institutions).
4. Assist in procurement for core projects funded by CFI Singapore in Tranche 3 and applied research projects won by CFI Singapore.
5. Assist in management of all seed grants owned by CFI Singapore.
6. Office administration duties including fixed asset management, safety, and space.
7. Other duties as directed by Executive Director and Director (Operations).
