The successful candidate would be required to:
Manage timely application, renewal, and cancellation of vessel and crew certificates (e.g. MPA Harbour Craft Licence, WRC, Ship Sanitation, MMSI assignments);
Coordinate inspections and document preparation for harbour craft licence renewals;
Liaise with Fleet Operations for crew certification renewals;
Maintain accurate records of trading and crew certificates in compliance with MPA and ISM requirements;
Ensure continuous validity of all vessel and crew documents;
Support documentation for vessel sales and overseas charters;
Handle immigration clearance and logistics for crew sign-on/off and port movements;
Arrange travel, accommodation, and transport for crew changes, including invoice processing;
Draft memos and instructions, including translation to Bahasa Indonesia/Malayu using translation tools;
Provide basic IT troubleshooting for foreign crew.
Support internal communications, publicity content, and project highlights across media formats;
Coordinate staff engagement initiatives, cohesion activities, and departmental events;
Develop training content for crew;
Assist in digitalizing crewing, asset, and statistics-related processes;
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
The successful candidate shall preferably possess:
Diploma/Degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Logistics or Supply Chain;
Minimum 3 years' crewing experience in the marine industry;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels;
Excellent critical thinking and numeracy skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail;
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel.
