How this opportunity is different

As an Executive Recruiter within the Global Talent Acquisition team, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team on highly confidential searches. We partner with our Sourcing Team and Coordination Team on location analysis, inclusion & diversity initiatives, and offering the best possible service to our internal clients and our candidates. This position offers high visibility within Aon and extensive room for growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

What the day will look like

Each day will look quite different, working with executive-level leaders within the firm to grasp key business drivers and continually seek to understand how each role contributes to the success of the business. You will partner closely with the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Regional Heads of Talent Acquisition on recruitment and aligned TA on strategy for talent as well as key partners, such as HR directors, Compensation, Total Rewards, Legal and others to ensure best-in-class service levels. Our Executive Recruiters also work with select retained and contingent search firms on niche roles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing positive relationships with senior leaders and establishing a solid understanding of strategic, financial objectives and how they relate to hiring needs.
  • Showcasing experience and skills by providing consultative talent acquisition guidance to senior leadership, ensuring alignment to key company and strategic objectives.
  • Increasing awareness on the positive impacts of diversity and ensuring the presentation of diverse slates of candidates to be interviewed by diverse assessor panels.
  • Employing discretion while leading highly confidential talent searches, providing both market and candidate insights.
  • Collaborating with the APAC and Global TA Sourcing Teams to develop executive level talent pipelines and comprehensive talent market maps as needed.

Key Background

Significant and demonstrable recruiting experience with considerable experience in the executive-level recruiting space will provide a solid foundation for this role. The ability to influence and showcase talent acquisition knowledge, standard methodologies, and maintain strong partnerships at all levels are critical. A solution-minded standout colleague that offers innovative strategies in the acquisition of executive talent is essential.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience with behavioural interviewing skills and other assessment techniques.
  • Command of one or more ATS and CRM tools with experience in building talent maps and strategy plans for hiring with strong project management skills.
  • Broad industry knowledge and personal network, with some experience working with external agencies.
  • Desire to learn and live Aon’s values, including acting with integrity and displaying commitment to our clients, colleagues and community.
