As an Executive, Ramp Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing apron operations at the assigned terminal. Your role is crucial in ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and airline-specific requirements are met, contributing to seamless ground operations. By maintaining high operational standards, you will help strengthen long-term business relationships with our airline partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure sufficient staffing and optimal deployment of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for the efficient loading and unloading of arrival and departure flights.
  • Verify that staff are knowledgeable about the specific requirements of different airlines.
  • Maintain adherence to precise timing for departure and arrival flight handling.
  • Oversee that aircraft-to-aircraft cargo transfers comply with operational requirements.
  • Maintain proper segregation of deadload, adhering to the ‘first in, last out’ or ‘last in, first out’ principle, with cargo loaded first and baggage placed on the door side as specified in the Loading Instruction Report.
  • Oversee all operational staff matters, including last-minute leave requests, recall overtime, etc.
  • Conduct staff assessments and performance appraisals.
  • Manage and certify staff overtime (OT) and allowances.
  • Review the Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR) submitted by Duty Baggage Specialists for any irregularities and take prompt action.
  • Oversee the completion of daily safety audits and toolbox briefings by Duty Managers.
  • Ensure staff discipline within operations, including the initiation of disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Regularly assess safety, security, and OHS standards, as well as accident rates, through meetings and awareness campaigns. Maintain close monitoring of hygiene standards, addressing any issues raised, and ensure continuous improvement in workplace health and safety.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Reporting Supervisor.

Job Requirement

  • University degree or 3 years of relevant experience in Ramp Operations or other airport-related fields.
  • Skilled in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent multitasking and deadline management abilities.
  • Familiarity with SAP and experience in generating reports and presentations.
  • Possess passion in service and customer experience
  • Positive mindset and ability to work independently and under tight timelines.
  • Ability to lead a team
