The Executive - Product Category supports in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating marketing plans for multiple product ranges in the SGP region. This role aims to achieve sales objectives in the short to mid-term while ensuring product category growth and profitability. The executive will lead in driving the product category's targets, lead market insights, and manage the gated process of new product launches. They will serve as the central coordinator between various teams, including OHQ product planning, R&D, SGP sales, supply chain, and QA/RA/TCS, to drive product-related projects.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing Support:
- Assist in the implementation and management of strategic marketing campaigns to support product category growth.
- Work closely with local marketing managers, sales teams, and business partners to help execute brand activation plans, focusing on promotion, pricing, place, and product.
2. Market Research Assistance:
- Support the collection and analysis of market research data to understand current market conditions and competitor activities.
- Assist in compiling market insights, including market landscape analysis and share of market tracking.
3. Product Category Support:
- Assist in tracking product category targets such as market penetration and sales performance.
- Support the identification of new market opportunities by working with engineers, designers, suppliers, and customers.
4. New Product Development Support:
- Aid in coordinating all phases of new product development, including research, design, pricing, marketing, sales, and distribution.
- Support the implementation of new product launches to ensure timely market entry.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Serve as the central coordinator between the OHQ product planning team, R&D, OHS sales, supply chain, and QA/RA/TCS teams for product-related projects.
- Help ensure alignment across teams for cohesive product strategy execution.
6. Budget Management Assistance:
- Support the execution of marketing plans within the approved budget to optimize resource allocation.
7. Collaboration and Implementation:
- Assist in executing new product launch activities in collaboration with OHQ, sales, supply chain management, and QA/RA/TCS teams.
- Help ensure seamless implementation of product strategies by leveraging cross-functional support.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in business, marketing and/or engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- Academic working and thinking level
- Trained in some level of customer and market research and project management
- Independent self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal
