Our Production team is hiring! We are currently looking for an Executive Producer. This is a great opportunity to join INVNT GROUP and make a significant impact at a fast-growing company! Note: this role requires moderate travel for projects.
We are seeking an Executive Producer (EP) who will take responsibility for leading the management, development and growth of the production arm of the business as well as the implementation of events on behalf of our clients. The EP is responsible for executing a wide range of complex, multi-faceted programs. The EP’s role is to ensure that all aspects of a program are successfully delivered to the client. They are also responsible for the fiscal health of the program and for communicating effectively with the team and the client. This senior-level position involves working closely with the Head of Production, Creative Directors, and Directors of Account Services.
Role Responsibilities
RFP’s
- Producing the execution of RFPs and RFIs in collaboration with Senior Directors of Account Services and Creative Directors.
- Guide the development, timeline, writing and presentation of RFPs.
- Budget preparation, quotations, and Procim management.
- Collaborating on staffing charts, bios, and project management plans.
- Sourcing, liaising and coordinating third-party suppliers.
- Providing production expertise.
Project Management
- Understanding the client’s business and communication objectives.
- Sourcing, liaising and coordinating third-party suppliers.
- Providing production expertise.
- Budget management in Procim.
- Building, managing and mentoring the production team.
- Work with the Head of Production to forecast staffing requirements.
- Ensure clear communication to the client for the assigned program regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and program status/action items.
- Ensure regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Coach and oversee junior team members on the execution of all individual job details.
- Develop the talent of junior team by providing challenging assignments and ongoing constructive feedback.
- Manage resources; identify, negotiate and book external resources as needed.
- Develop and actively manage vendor/freelance talent relationships to ensure the best available talent and pricing.
- Reconcile program costs against the budget for your assigned program and work with finance to recognise revenue.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experiential/events experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Broadcasting/Film or Marketing. If you don’t have a university degree, but still excel as an executive producer and have experience, you will be considered.
- Working knowledge of a range of strategic branding productions and the technologies therein.
- Executive producer experience in an agency setting with business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, and Excel is required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Procim is preferred but not required.
- Preferred knowledge of Procim project management software.
- Superior communication skills – written, verbal, and workflow efficiency.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and accounts with large-scale work streams.
- Strong negotiating skills and technical understanding of the industry.
