Job description

Key Responsibilities:

PCF is the leading Preschool Anchor Operator (AOP) in Singapore with about 1 in every 5 children enrolled in preschool being in Sparkletots centres. In this regard, PCF aspires to be a responsible and competent early childhood provider which upholds the highest standards of corporate governance as well as meet the stringent regulatory requirements and quality benchmarks as mandated by PCF’s Management, the Early Childhood Development Agency, and other regulators.

The role of Executive/Senior Executive is a critical position that involves supporting the Directors/Managers to improve the operational and/or financial efficiency & performance of PCF centres/services in response to changes to operating/regulatory landscape.

These may include analysis of data to understand the trend, implementing changes and new initiatives, coordinating projects at HQ/district level and with other relevant parties.

Areas requiring attention and contribution may include subsidy and financial support management, centralized procurements & vendor management, management of surveys, process and system improvement, updating of SOPs/guidelines, trainings/briefings to HQ/centre staff, financial budget projection, coordinating internal and external audits, as well as managing questions/requests and support in cross-functional projects, and providing any other necessary assistance/support as required by the PMD Division.

Job Holder Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in any discipline or equivalent
  • Experience: 2 years of administrative experience preferably in the education industry
  • Special Qualities, Knowledge & Skills:
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Able to multi-task, resourceful, and well-organized in managing collaborative work/projects
    • Meticulous in managing large volumes of information/database
    • Able to work with initiative and independently
    • Good team player with effective analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Good people management skills

Depending on experience and qualification, the successful candidate may be considered for a senior position.
