The Industry Relations team at NUS School of Computing connects students with industry leaders, creating valuable relationships that lead to exciting internship and job opportunities.
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive to assist in the administration of internship programs and related activities. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the student experience and the university community.
Job Description
Internship Programme Management
- Assist in student and employer queries pertaining to internship matters within stipulated timeline.
- Assist in monitoring student applications and job postings from employers.
- Manage and process students' internship enrollment and grade processing.
- Generate placement letters for students.
- Take part in streamlining the current processes and systems to improve the efficiency of the internship procedures.
Employer Engagement & Outreach
- Engage with companies in various industry sectors, in alignment with the needs and strengths of Computing students.
- Assist to organize networking sessions to create additional platforms to connect corporates and students.
Student Development & Training
- Assist to organize relevant workshops and trainings to ensure that students develop skills needed to grow their careers and conduct effective job searches.
Event Coordination & Logistics
- Assist to coordinate and provide logistical support for events, seminars, and workshops.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree holder.
- Those with no experience may apply.
- Highly self-motivated individual who is independent and adaptive.
- Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with multiple timelines and stakeholders.
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Tact and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Demonstrate initiative and good interpersonal communication skills.
- IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
- The successful incumbent will be offered an initial 2 years' employment contract, subject to renewal.
