Role Description:
The Senior HR Executive plays a dual role in managing both the human resources functions and day-to-day office operations. This position is responsible for handling strategic HR initiatives such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management, while also overseeing office administration, facilities management, and vendor coordination. The role demands strong leadership skills, an excellent understanding of HR policies, and the ability to maintain a well-organized, efficient office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (HR) Management:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer management.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Partner with department heads to determine hiring needs and create job descriptions.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Foster a positive work culture through employee engagement initiatives.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts in compliance with company policies.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in conducting performance evaluations and developing performance improvement plans.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure company HR policies are compliant with labour laws and regulations.
- Regularly update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee disciplinary processes and termination procedures when necessary.
Office Management:
Administrative Support:
- Supervise the daily operations of the office, including reception, mail, office supplies, and IT support coordination.
- Ensure that all office equipment is functioning properly and maintenance schedules are up to date.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as necessary.
Facilities Management:
- Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of office spaces.
- Coordinate with vendors for services such as cleaning, security, and building maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and create a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in human resources
- Experience in office or facilities management is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
