Job description

The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aims to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centred around each person. You will be part of the HR Manpower Planning & Analytics team, playing a key role in manpower forecasting, workforce data analysis, and HR reporting. This role requires strong analytical and data visualisation skills, leveraging tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel Macros to provide meaningful workforce insights and support manpower-related decision-making. The incumbent will also work closely with HR and Hospital Planning Committee to enhance workforce optimisation and support long-term manpower planning efforts.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to EGH’s strategic workforce initiatives by utilising data analytics to drive informed manpower decisions and support the development of a high-performing and well-planned workforce.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field with at least 2 years’ HR experience, with a focus on manpower planning, workforce analytics, or HR reporting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Macros, Pivot Tables, and Advanced Formulas)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI for HR analytics
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to interpret complex workforce data
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) for data extraction and reporting
  • Knowledge of HR metrics, workforce planning, and forecasting techniques
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and present data-driven insights effectively
