Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore (MCAS), also known as Darul Arqam Singapore, is a non-profit organization serving specifically the need of Muslim Converts in Singapore as well as the Singapore Muslim community.

- EXECUTIVE, FUNDRAISER - FINANCE DIVISION
Join us as a Fundraising Officer and play a crucial role in securing financial support to further our mission. This position goes beyond simple donation requests; it is about building and maintaining strong relationships with our donors to encourage long-term contributions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct in-depth research and develop fundraising proposals
- Lead and manage a variety of communication and fundraising initiatives to enhance our organization's visibility across multiple media platforms and events
- Assist in various communication projects and drive the launch of innovative fundraising campaigns
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential donors
- Create impactful marketing materials for fundraising initiatives
- Develop and implement sustainable fundraising strategies to ensure our organization's ongoing success and resilience
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum Diploma from local polytechnic or other relevant recognized institutions
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of charity fundraising over a range of methods
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Experience or knowledge of grant and trust applications
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office management tools and applications
2. ASSISTANT FUNDRAISING & EVENTS COORDINATOR EXECUTIVE (6-MONTH CONTRACT) – FINANCE DIVISION
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Fundraising & Events Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of our fundraising campaigns and events. This role, offered as a 6-month contract, involves assisting with event logistics, donor communications, and administrative tasks, contributing to our organisation’s financial goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives
- Help create marketing strategies to promote events and fundraising efforts
- Provide updates on fundraising initiatives, donor impact, and event outcomes
- Manage various communication and fundraising activities to enhance our visibility across multiple media platforms and events
- Oversee social media platforms, creating engaging content and monitoring audience engagement
- Contribute to establishing sustainable fundraising strategies to ensure the organization’s ongoing success and resilience
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum Diploma from local polytechnic or other relevant recognized institutions
- Minimum 1 year of experience in charity fundraising across various methods
- Proven track record of successful project management
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well in teams
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office management tools and applications
