Ensure smooth operation of events, managing the schedule and address any potential issues that may arise
Liaise with clients to understand their logistics and technical requirements and provide advice on AV, venue setup and technical solutions
Oversee event setup and teardown
Support the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of audio-visual, video conferencing, display, and presentation technologies during all events.
Perform prior checks and diagnostics on AV equipment, particularly for large events or meetings held in auditoriums and meeting rooms
Maintain, test, and resolve issues related to A/V equipment and media systems to minimize downtime and disruption
Regularly monitor and perform checks on venue facilities, including AV and VC systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
Track inventory of spares and consumables and request purchases as necessary.
Update and maintain a logbook or database to track maintenance schedules, equipment condition, and service records
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in venue setup, storage areas, and technical operations
Any other duties as and when assigned
Requirements:
Diploma in Event Management, Audio or any relevant field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in supporting large scale events
Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a constantly evolving environment
