Job Briefing:

SPTel is seeking a talented and competent Senior Executive to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to the target audience. Your role will include:

Events Planning and Logistics Management

As the lead for events execution within SPTel, you will need to work closely with content owners to achieve successful and cost-effective events, with close tracking of timeline and deliverables to achieve measurable outcomes such as improving awareness, customer satisfaction scores and increasing lead opportunities for SPTel. You will also be trained to perform product demonstrations for events.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient planning of customer gifting and appreciation events.

Success will be measured by the entire event experience of internal and external customers.

Working in this role

To achieve these deliverables, you will work very closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Corporate Affairs, IT and Product Marketing teams. Coordination with external agencies, partners and vendors supporting the organization will also be needed. We have a rapid pace of innovation at SPTel, and a successful candidate must be flexible and agile enough to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A successful candidate will be organized and programmatic in his/her approach and having the positive acquisition of customers and nurturing of lead to opportunity as performance goals. He/she understands the importance of meeting timelines and is able to display strong project management and interpersonal skills. Successful experience in the telecommunications and IT industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead event marketing – A dynamic strategy that involves promoting products, services, or brands through carefully planned and executed events. It goes beyond traditional marketing methods by creating immersive experiences, content that engage and captivate audiences.
  • Plan, propose, project manage and deliver events/tradeshows/workshops that can help SPTel reach out to and engage with our target audiences.
  • Own, lead, plan, project manage, operate and execute to deliver a successful outcome with good customer experience and survey result ( NPS score and Brand survey) for all internal and external customer onsite and online events, webinar, conferences, seminar, tradeshow and Demonstrations in Singapore and regional.
  • Lead, curate and produce speech, content and customers engagement activities, presentations, demonstrations together with external vendors and partners, customers and key stakeholders from cross functional teams in SPTel, ST Engineering and Singapore Power Groups.
  • Lead and own the customer experience for SPTel's Innovation Hub/lab and InnoSuite and, customer networking, nurturing and retention events and Giftings.
  • Responsible for sourcing for and negotiating with vendors and suppliers
  • Support for promotional activities for the event
  • Preparing and managing project budgets
  • Prepare post activity reports and analyze success/failure for future improvements
  • Follow up on leads generated from events to achieve marketing ROMI targets
  • Responsible in ensuring excellent customer experience at all events. e.g. survey, brand, CE and NPS scores.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study
  • 5 years of experience in telco or IT industry is an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with telecommunications, cyber security, IOT, cloud computing concepts & terminology is a plus
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
  • Customer focus (sincerely wants to improve customer experience)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
  • Independent and great team player with proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast
