Executive, Distribution-Brokers

Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Executive, Distribution Broker in our Distribution, Strategy & Transformation Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and ensure effective relationship management with new and existing brokers to increase sales to meet business targets and to ensure long term business partnership.
2. Actively identify opportunities to introduce Company products and develop new sales enquiries thereby increasing the revenue opportunity within each producer business portfolio.
3. Advise producers on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
4. Monitor and analyze producers’ performance to determine focus of sales efforts and ensure profitable growth.
5. Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and IT to facilitate prompt and efficient servicing support to producers.
6. Ensure compliance with corporate governance and industry regulations and procedures.
7. Gather market intelligence to ensure company competitiveness and capitalize on market opportunities to identify trends and develop new ways to grow the business profitably.
8. Conduct product training for brokers.
9. Underwrite selected P&C classes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Diploma in Business or equivalent.
2. Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) and Health Insurance qualification required.
3. Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
4. Strong relationship building, customer focus, and management skills.
5. Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
7. Good written and oral communication skills.
8. Good selling and presentation skills.
9. Self-motivated, possess initiative, and a good team player.
