You will report to the Director (Corporate Insolvency) and undertake case-specific and general administrative work within the Insolvency Office. You will be tasked to handle a range of cases, namely compulsory winding up cases, simplified winding up cases, voluntary winding up cases, and defunct companies' cases.
The Official Receiver administers the affairs of wound-up companies in accordance with the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act (IRDA). It seeks to recover assets from the wound-up company to satisfy the debts owed to the creditors while ensuring that the various stakeholders in the wound-up company are treated fairly.
Apart from administering the affairs of wound-up companies, the Official Receiver also administers claims made by members of the public against the assets of defunct companies.
What You Will Be Working On
Undertake all aspects of corporate insolvency administration in accordance with the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act (IRDA).
Liaise with insolvency practitioners, other government agencies, law firms, and key stakeholders as part of the case administration process.
Handle case-specific written applications, claims, and enquiries from members of the public.
Any ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements What we are looking for
Possess qualifications in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or Law with a proven track record in general administration.
Ability to start immediately is preferred.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year non-extendable contract.
