Executive, Community Partnership & Outreach

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement strategies and programmes to strengthen stakeholder engagement
• Conceptualise and create communication literatures that effectively resonate with both internal and external stakeholders
• Craft speeches and messages for the management, in both English and Mandarin
• Manage media requests and craft talking points/replies to media queries
• Manage corporate website and social media channels, including developing and maintaining content to engage new and existing stakeholders
• Plan and coordinate corporate events
• Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or duties assigned to support the department’s operations

Competencies

• Relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, communications or social science
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken. A strong command of Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with stakeholders in the Chinese community
• Skilled in writing and copyediting, including adapting writing styles for various target audiences
• Deep knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital/social media, with a keen interest in Chinese culture and heritage
• Able to multi-task effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to details
• Team player with a high degree of initiative and “can-do” spirit
