Executive, Communication and Fund Raising

Job Description:

1. Responsible for the public communications strategies to raise the organisation's brand profile and equity.
2. Manage public relationships through various communication channels and platforms, i.e. website, digital, social and traditional media, campaigns and events.
3. Manage and execute the organisation's publicity campaigns and outreach events; build relationships and regular engagement with journalists, media partners, and sponsors; writing media briefings, press releases, etc.
4. Preparation of Annual Report, newsletters, brochures / catalogues, electronic direct marketing and social media content.
5. Ensure that the organisation's visibility with all stakeholders is maintained, and cordial relations with partners, collaborators and relevant government agencies are upheld via various communication platforms.
6. Support the organisation's objectives for fund-raising, outreach and services to the community.
7. Maintain personal data (e.g. public members, volunteers, sponsors, caregivers) obtained from public engagement platforms i.e. website, events, campaigns.
8. Undertake any other duties as directed by the reporting officer.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing or Public Relations preferred.
2. Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
3. Creative, insightful, anticipates needs and takes initiative.
4. Proactive in planning and implementation, able to multi-task, independent problem solver, meticulous with good time-management.
5. Able to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders.
6. Excellent communicator, strong written and spoken English. Bilingualism, and an eye for design is advantageous.
7. Proficient in MS Office, web, digital and social media, and various graphic design or video editing software.
