The successful candidate will support the day-to-day activities arising from the research projects and programmes within the University.
What You Will Be Doing
Organise research forums, seminars, courses, and workshops to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Establish, manage, and maintain the department webpage and repositories.
Coordinate the preparation, submission, and publication of research working papers. This includes managing the process for obtaining necessary ISBNs (International Standard Book Numbers) or equivalent identifiers for published works.
Develop and maintain department policies, procedures, and records.
Assist in tracking research expenditures, ensuring budget alignment and compliance with policies and procedures.
Assist in collation of research outputs for reporting.
Assist with procurement of office supplies and onboarding of office staff and other office-related tasks.
Identify and implement process improvements within research administration and office operations.
Provide flexible support for special assignments and other tasks as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in any specialised field.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet computations.
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and good judgment.
